Ugnayan ng Manggagawang Migrante Tungo sa Paguinlad (Umangat
and Makabayang Atas ng Supremo Andres Bonifacio (MASA) distributed flyers
and conducted a petition signing among
OFWs at EUR-Fermi today 13 April 2014 between 12 noon and 2:30pm.
It is in execution of a joint plan to combat the forced
remittance house bill 3576 submitted to the Congress of the Philippines last December, 2013 by Rep. Roy Seneres of OFW Family Club
Partylist, a proposed law being opposed by OFWs worldwide.
It is hoped that more groups will actively join the campaign.
Todate, there are at least three goups who already shared the campaign.
